Jessica and Adam, Leaving a Legacy.
Every so often I encounter clients, and I end up thinking to myself "its like they climbed inside my head and took a look around". Lets get real, I'm a planner. I looking to the future, with often mild to moderate anxiety, and I plan. I like to know that I'm not missing anything because I have already thought everything through. I absolutely love knowing that when something unfolds its due to thoughtful planning and execution. Now, in so many areas in my life, I am working on this. I'm learning to let go of the reigns and just live in the freedom of the moment. Leaving a legacy, however, is not one of these things. This is something so important and dear to my heart that I plan on planning it out- always, so there.
Jessica contacted me in April to plan a one year anniversary session for November. It was client-love at first email. At this point, she had been married for 6 months and was already eager and actively making sure that her and Adam's story was documented so that they could look at the legacy they are currently living. I have so much respect for that.
We met in Charleston. The weather was perfect. Jessica and Adam were a couple of days into their anniversary trip and I got to hear all about it. We explored the woods, climbed trees, and attempted to open bottles of bubbly (who knew there were champagne brands that need bottle openers?). It was perfect. I drove away just sitting in the joy of knowing that I really do love my job, not just because I love photography, but because it leads me into relationships with people like Jessica and Adam. So check out a couple of shots from this perfect afternoon.
Are you ready to dive in and start documenting your legacy? I would love to be a part of that! I can't wait to see what we come up with. Just drop an email to email@example.com and we will get this ball rolling!
